Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Harrison

Harrison had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mishawaka Marian Knights by a score of 2-0. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Among those leading the charge was Kaylee Swihart, who had 11 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six matchups.

Mishawaka Marian's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jenna VanBruaene, who had eight digs and two aces. VanBruaene has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Mishawaka Marian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Harrison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Elkhart on the 6th. As for Mishawaka Marian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against South Bend Riley on the 6th.
