Swanton is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They fell 39-28 to Holgate.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jessica Finfera, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Lauren Bettinger, who put up five points and five steals.
Meanwhile, Delta put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 57-48 victory over Archbold.
Delta's win came from a few key players Swanton will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Anna Lohman, who went 8 for 16 on her way to 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Wyse, who went 6 of 10 en route to 14 points in addition to six boards and five steals.
Delta smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 15 consecutive games.
Delta's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-0. As for Swanton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Swanton has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 20.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Delta struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.

A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Delta's Kendall Sprow, who went 8 for 16 on her way to 21 points and five steals.
