The biggest upset of the week belonged to Sultana, who took down 400th ranked Sultana, 49-3. Tyler Murphy ran for 325 yards in the win.
Serrano extended the longest winning streak in Mojave River this week by beating Victor Valley, 44-14. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Diamondbacks.
Brett Kokesh made the biggest impact on defense this week as Oak Hills defeated Hesperia. The 5-foot-7 junior grabbed one interception.
Nolan Brammer threw for 250 yards and three touchdowns. He was 14-33 with zero interceptions.
Christopher Crummel was the best wideout in the league this week as the Scorpions lost to the Bulldogs. Crummel racked up 11 receptions for 106 yards. Alex Hammond helped Hesperia's passing attack out by catching five balls for 78 yards.
Hesperia's Austin Williams and Crummel have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Williams has thrown for 1042 yards this season, while Crummel has 33 catches for 575 yards. Murphy from Apple Valley leads the league in rushing with 805 yards.
The top two teams in Mojave River will face off this week when first place Serrano takes on second place Oak Hills. Serrano topped the Jackrabbits last week, while Oak Hills defeated Jeremy Topete's team.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Bulldogs take on Ray Maholchic's team. Oak Hills' offense has racked up 215 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Diamondbacks have allowed only 64 on the year.
