Grantsville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan Powell, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Decker Dzierzon was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Grantsville's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-14. As for South Summit, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grantsville will take on Ben Lomond at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ben Lomond is coming into the matchup with four straight defeats on the road, meaning Grantsville will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for South Summit, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Morgan at 7:00 p.m. Morgan has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 181 points over their last three contests.
