The Rancho San Juan Trailblazers will head out on the road to challenge the Monterey Dores at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Rancho San Juan's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
Rancho San Juan has not won a game since January 16th, a trend which continued on Wednesday. Their rough 5-0 defeat to Salinas might stick with them for a while.
Monterey, on the other hand, haven't lost since January 24th and they too continued that trend. They never let Palma onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. Monterey's winning goal came courtesy of Rene Saucedo.
Rancho San Juan has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-4 record this season. As for Monterey, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-5-2 record this season.
