Rancho San Juan has not won a game since January 16th, a trend which continued on Wednesday. Their rough 5-0 defeat to Salinas might stick with them for a while.
Monterey, on the other hand, haven't lost since January 24th and they too continued that trend. They never let Palma onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. Monterey's winning goal came courtesy of Rene Saucedo.

As for Monterey, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-5-2 record this season.
