The Fairview Tigers were the 60-15 winner over the Iroquois Braves when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Fairview opened the new year with a less-than-successful 41-36 defeat to they on Friday.
Orlando Brown continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Iroquois, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Brink, who scored six points along with nine rebounds.
Fairview's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Iroquois, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Fairview will be playing in front of their home fans against Northwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwestern is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Iroquois, they will head out on the road to face off against Seneca at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
