They came out on top against Chief Ivan Blunka by a score of 44-37 on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Sand Point, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Among those leading the charge was Rowdy Tripp, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds. Tyler Gundersen was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Sand Point's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Chief Ivan Blunka, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
