It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Anderson Prep Academy had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Southwestern Spartans, posting a 73-43 victory. The Jets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Anderson Prep Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zamarion Bryant led the charge by almost dropping a double-double with 24 points and nine boards. What's more, Bryant also posted a 71% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Camron Anderson, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine assists.

Anderson Prep Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win was the eighth in a row for Anderson Prep Academy, bringing their record for this year to 18-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points over those games. As for Southwestern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.

Anderson Prep Academy will face off against Indiana School for the Deaf at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Southwestern, they will challenge Waldron at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southwestern has given up an average of 57 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
