Maranatha Baptist Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Haley Thompson, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylyn Leggett, who scored ten points along with two blocks.
Maranatha Baptist Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-8. As for Omaha Warriors, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Maranatha Baptist Academy will be playing at home against the Crusaders at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. First Baptist is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games. Omaha Warriors does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
