The South Kitsap Wolves will take on the Graham-Kapowsin Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Kitsap will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
On Monday, South Kitsap made easy work of Bethel and carried off a 12-6 victory. The win continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Bison: they've now won eight in a row.
Maleah Sawyers was excellent, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Kayla Leibrant was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: South Kitsap kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, Graham-Kapowsin faced Sumner in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Eagles came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 8-3.
The team relied heavily on Nalani San Nicolas, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Keilani Tuiasosopo-Utu, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

South Kitsap's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's contest. The Wolves have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Graham-Kapowsin, though, as they've been averaging only 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will South Kitsap continue to outrun the ball?
South Kitsap skirted past Graham-Kapowsin 3-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
