Kaufman and Sunnyvale are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2015, but likely not for long. The Kaufman Lions will head out on the road to challenge Sunnyvale at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
After soaring to four goals the game before, Kaufman were a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 3-0 walloping at the hands of Community.
Meanwhile, Sunnyvale put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They blew past Caddo Mills 7-0. The victory was familiar territory for Sunnyvale who now have three in a row.
Their offense was hitting Caddo Mills from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.
Kaufman's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Sunnyvale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3-3 record this season.
