Dudley won the last time they faced Ben L. Smith and things went their way on Friday too. Dudley blew past Ben L. Smith 17-2. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won five matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Dudley got a massive performance out of Jayven Baize, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Baize has become a key player for Dudley: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-4 otherwise. Donovan Locklear was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Dudley now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Ben L. Smith, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Dudley Panthers duke it out with Eastern Guilford Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastern Guilford has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.82 runs per game on average), something Dudley will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Ben L. Smith, they will host Atkins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Ben L. Smith is facing Atkins at the right time seeing as Atkins is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
