The Eldorado Sundevils were the 73-69 winner over the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans when they last played one another back in December of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. Eldorado had to suffer through a rough 66-28 loss at the hands of Cimarron-Memorial.
Eldorado's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamarion Durant, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Robert "RJ" Waddell, who scored 9 points.
Eldorado's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Cimarron-Memorial, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Eldorado will face off against Green Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Green Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Thursday. As for Cimarron-Memorial, they will face off against Shadow Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
