The Reed-Custer Comets waltzed into Tuesday's contest with two straight wins but they left with three. They breezed by Prairie Central at home to the tune of 44-15. Reed-Custer might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three games by 20 points or more this season.
Reed-Custer found their leader in underclassman Alyssa Wollenzien, who scored 18 points along with 6 steals. Madison Keenan was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 9 rebounds.
Reed-Custer has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 6-4 record. As for Prairie Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Reed-Custer will be playing at home against Herscher at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Prairie Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Normal University at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Normal University is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
