Johnson Central got themselves on the board against Greenup County last Friday, but Greenup County never followed suit. Johnson Central took the contest and then some with a 51-0 victory over Greenup County. The victory was familiar territory for Johnson Central, who now have six in a row.
Meanwhile, Hazard were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They took their matchup against Phelps by a conclusive 35-6 score. Followers of Hazard probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Their wins bumped Hazard to 4-2 and Johnson Central to 6-1. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
