The Castle Rock Rockets scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 64-35 win over La Center. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Castle Rock has managed all season.
Castle Rock had a senior duo take command as Laynee Logan went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 3 assists and Kelsey Poyner scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Logan has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kynsi Bayes, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Castle Rock and bumps their season record up to 8-12. As for La Center, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-8.
