Summit saw some tournament action  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   9-4  victory over the Sycamore War Eagles. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Spartans.
 Addison Johnson looked comfortable as she  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. She has been consistent  for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time she's  pitched this season.

 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Anne Marie Richards, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3. Those  two  runs gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Audrey Cathey, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-2.

Summit now  has a winning record of 8-7. As for Sycamore,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5-1.
 Summit wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  matchup,  an  8-2  loss against Gordonsville on the 29th. As for Sycamore, they also  didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  7-6  defeat against Milan on the 29th.
