Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Bad Axe blew Vassar out of the water with a 47-10 final score. With Bad Axe ahead 25-2 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Unionville-Sebewaing scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Thursday. They strolled past Vassar with points to spare, taking the game 40-24. The victory was just what Unionville-Sebewaing needed coming off of a 52-32 loss in their prior contest.
Bad Axe's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Unionville-Sebewaing, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-10 record this season.
Bad Axe beat Unionville-Sebewaing 30-23 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bad Axe since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
