Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marquette Catholic). They blew past the New Prairie Cougars 72-24 on Wednesday. The Blazers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Laniah Davis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 12 of 17 en route to 27 points and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Natalie Robinson, who went 5 of 7 on her way to 12 points and eight steals.

Marquette Catholic smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.

Marquette Catholic pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.7 points. As for New Prairie, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
