Troy will challenge Piqua on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Troy is currently enjoying a four-game winning streak and is looking to extend their dominance.
Troy's and Greenville's contest last Friday was close at halftime, but Troy turned on the heat in the second half with 35 points. Troy put a hurting on Greenville to the tune of 48-12. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Troy, who can brag about six blowout wins.
As for Piqua, they had a rough outing against Butler two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Piqua won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Tippecanoe 14-13. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
Everything went Troy's way against Piqua the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 32-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Troy since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
