Volleyball Recap: Bishop Watterson Wins Going Away Against Westfall

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bishop Watterson walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Westfall Mustangs on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their offense was headlined by Grady Gallagher and Ben Gabrich, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from AJ Harvey and his 19 assists. He was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Bishop Watterson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Westfall, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Bishop Watterson nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
