Andrews has gone 8-2 against Seminole recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Andrews Mustangs will welcome the Seminole Indians at 5:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
While Andrews' win against Greenwood wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Andrews skirted past Greenwood 10-8.

Lauren Cordova was a standout: she scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Kenedi Holly, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Cordova wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Andrews kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Seminole entered their tilt with Greenwood on Tuesday with ten consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with 11. They put the hurt on the Rangers with a sharp 20-10 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Indians have posted against the Rangers since March 30, 2021.
The team relied heavily on Monica Morin, who scored four runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Valerie Reyes was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Andrews has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. Seminole pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.
Friday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Andrews has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .482. However, it's not like Seminole struggles in that department as they've averaged .547. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Andrews took their win against Seminole when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-7. Does Andrews have another victory up their sleeve, or will Seminole turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
