It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shenango can now relate to. They fell just short of the Bentworth Bearcats by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Emma Herb made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Shenango's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Bentworth, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Shenango does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bentworth, they will face off against Neshannock on Wednesday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something the Bearcats surely won't give up without a fight.
