Westfield is 9-1 against Aldine since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Westfield Mustangs will head out on the road to challenge the Aldine Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Westfield has four straight wins, Aldine has 34 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Friday, Westfield beat Nimitz 50-39.
Meanwhile, Aldine pushed their score all the way to 57 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were outmatched by Eisenhower on the road and fell 100-57.
Westfield's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Aldine, their loss dropped their record down to 0-31.
Everything came up roses for Westfield against Aldine when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 93-44 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Westfield since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
