The Norborne Pirates won the last time they faced the Southwest Wildcats, and things went their way on Friday too. Norborne managed a 40-35 victory over Southwest. The win made it back-to-back wins for Norborne.
Southwest lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Emalee Granville, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds. Granville also pulled down eight rebounds for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Lylah Smith, who scored ten points.
Even though they lost, Southwest were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
