Christiansburg lost to Magna Vista back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Blue Demons put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Blue Demons, who have now won five matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

The win was the third in a row for Christiansburg, bringing their record up to 10-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Magna Vista, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christiansburg will host Cave Spring at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Demons will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Magna Vista, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Halifax County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors are on a six-game streak of home wins, the Comets a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
