The biggest upset of the week belonged to Dana Hills, who took down 191st ranked Capistrano Valley, 31-0.
Laguna Hills extended the longest winning streak in Sea View this week by beating Aliso Niguel, 49-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
6-foot-4 quarterback Nathan Cole of the Wolverines is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2523. He has also thrown 30 touchdowns. On the ground, the Dolphins' Marcus Hughes has rushed for 511 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Kyle Mucerino. The San Juan Hills star has 38 catches for 696 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when San Juan Hills takes on Aliso Niguel. The Stallions are in first place, while Kurt Westing's team is in fourth place.
There should be lots of points scored when San Juan Hills and the Wolverines face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Aaron Flowers' team comes in having scored 197 this season, while Aliso Niguel has scored 291.
Dana Hills moved up to 254 from 343 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Sea View. The Dolphins climbed the ranks as a result of defeating the Cougars 31-0.
