The Morgan Trojans entered their tilt with the Ben Lomond Scots with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Morgan snuck past Ben Lomond with a 63-58 win on Wednesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Several Scots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jake East, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. East is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jordan Harrison, who scored 15 points.
Morgan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Ben Lomond, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morgan will face off against Ogden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
