Wilson won the last time they faced Winston County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Warriors walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Yellowjackets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

While Wilson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Anna Simone and Olivia Poarch, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Olivia Watkins and her 16 assists. Nayani Cromwell controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Wilson's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Winston County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilson will venture away from home to face off against Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winston County, they will face off against West Point at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
