The Excelsior Springs Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Kirksville Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Excelsior Springs will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
Last Friday, it was close, but Excelsior Springs sidestepped Ruskin for a 25-22 victory.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Kirksville, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 35-20 loss to Capital City on Friday.
Kirksville's loss came about despite a quality game from Ryder Lyons, who threw for 171 yards and two touchdowns.
Excelsior Springs' victory bumped their season record to 1-8 while Kirksville's defeat dropped theirs to 4-5.
