The Weatherford Kangaroos''s game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Boswell by a score of 16-13. Weatherford was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Boswell apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Although Weatherford took the loss, they still got scores from Bradley Simmons and Colton McClure.
This is the second loss in a row for Weatherford and nudges their season record down to 4-4. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.0 points per game. As for Boswell, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
Weatherford will head out on the road to face off against Trinity at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Boswell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crowley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
