Chaparral and Kingman are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2015, but not for long. The Chaparral Roadrunners will head out on the road to square off against the Kingman Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chaparral is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Chaparral suffered a rough 69-46 loss at the hands of Independent. Chaparral has struggled against Independent recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Kingman's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They took a 44-27 bruising from Garden Plain. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kingman has scored all season.
Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Kingman, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
Chaparral came up short against Kingman in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 75-69. Can Chaparral avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
