Union Colony Prep struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Windsor Charter Academy racked up 11.
Meanwhile, Loveland Classical was able to grind out a solid victory over Caprock Academy on Friday, taking the game 35-26. The win made it back-to-back wins for Loveland Classical.
Union Colony Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Loveland Classical, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
Union Colony Prep skirted past Loveland Classical 26-24 in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Union Colony Prep since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
