Even though Denver West scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, Denver North still came out on top. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, Denver North made off with a 60-59 victory over the Cowboys.
Meanwhile, Lincoln's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They fell to Kennedy 51-47.
Denver North's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Lincoln, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.
