The Paradise Panthers will face off against the Boyd Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Paradise 2, Boyd 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Paradise's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Pilot Point with a sharp 12-0 victory. Considering the Panthers have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

McKenna Snyder was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brooke Limbaugh, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. McKinley McQueen was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Paradise lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Boyd entered their tilt with Ponder on Friday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 5-1.
Like Paradise, Boyd also got a great game from a two-way player: Abby Atkinson. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Atkinson was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.
In other batting news, Lilly Lambert was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Gabby Salas, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Boyd's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Paradise, their win bumped their record up to 13-5-2.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Paradise hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .325. However, it's not like Boyd struggles in that department as they've averaged .350. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Paradise suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Boyd when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Paradise avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
