Southmoreland had won two straight games and Dawson Wolfe did his part to make it three on Friday. The Scotties simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Laurel Highlands Mustangs 54-7 with plenty of help from Wolfe, who rushed for 163 yards and three TDs on only 14 carries, and also threw for 135 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. He didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles (2.5 for loss) and defended one pass.

Southmoreland's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Laurel Highlands, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southmoreland will take on Blackhawk at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Laurel Highlands, they will challenge Indiana at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
