The Illini West Chargers won the last time they faced the Barry Western Wildcats, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Illini West blew past Barry Western 55-33.
Illini West was led to victory by Wesley Robertson and Ethan Carlisle . Robertson scored 13 points along with five rebounds, while Carlisle scored 17 points along with three steals. Carlisle continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Reece Shoup, who scored 12 points.
Illini West's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Barry Western, their defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-13.
Illini West will take on Seymour at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Barry Western, they will take on Greenfield/Northwestern at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
