On Thursday, Escondido are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Chula Vista at Chula Vista HS at 4:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Escondido came within a touchdown against Mira Mesa last Thursday, but wound up with a 27-41 loss.
Meanwhile, Chula Vista had enough points to win and then some against Helix last week, winning 30-13.
Chula Vista's win lifted them to 1-1 while Escondido's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Chula Vista can add another positive mark to their record or if Escondido can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Chula Vista's step.
