The Borden Braves entered their tilt with the Lanesville Eagles with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Borden blew past Lanesville 60-38. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Borden also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
When it comes to explaining why Lanesville lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Braydon Hodges. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points. Jaxson Payne was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 5 rebounds.
Borden's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lanesville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Borden will be playing in front of their home fans against Providence at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lanesville, they will head out on the road to face off against Paoli at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
