After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Douglas, the Reno Huskies were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They came out on top against Carson by a score of 38-30. That's another feather in the cap for Reno, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Among those leading the charge was Kindle Rowe, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Yolanda Reyes was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Reno now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Carson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Reno will be home for the holidays to greet Reed at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Reed is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Carson, they will head out on the road to face off against Damonte Ranch at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Damonte Ranch is ranked 56th, while Carson is ranked 45th).
