On the hitting side, Tommy Malloy was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Giovannelli, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Rodriguez earned an 11-7 victory over Bishop O'Dowd on Saturday. Considering the Mustangs' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Bennett Giaramitta looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
At the plate, Jack Jacobson was a standout: he scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Benjaman 'BJ' Smith, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
The win made it two in a row for Justin-Siena and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Rodriguez, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Rodriguez's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Justin-Siena has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .463. It's a different story for Rodriguez, though, as they've only averaged .313. Will they be able to contain Justin-Siena's hitters?
Justin-Siena skirted past Rodriguez 4-2 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Does Justin-Siena have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rodriguez turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
