Community School of Davidson won the last time they faced Mooresville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Spartans blew past the Blue Devils 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 27-25, 25-16.

Lizzie Shields paced Community School of Davidson's offense, picking up 13 kills. Shields got some help from Lila English and her 25 assists. Gracyn McRorie controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Mooresville's loss came despite strong showings from Siena DiTomas and Reagan Young. DiTomas had seven digs and two aces, while Young had 12 digs and two assists. DiTomas has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Community School of Davidson's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Mooresville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.
