It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Robinson Senators can now relate to. They fell just short of Southside by a score of 20-17. Robinson was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Southside apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2016.
Despite the defeat, Robinson had strong showings from Quentin Murphy jr., who rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown, and Nick Abrams, who rushed for 150 yards.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Southside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Savion Hall, who rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. Gabe Witt also helped out as he racked up 107 rushing yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Robinson and nudges their season record down to 7-4. As for Southside, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
Robinson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Southside's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Camden Fairview at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arkansas (Camden Fairview is ranked 21st, while Southside is ranked 23rd).
