Izaiah Moraga posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

Moraga's strong effort led Salpointe Catholic over Walden Grove and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
