The Dawson Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Alief Elsik Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dawson is coming into the match hot, having won their last 13 games.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Dawson beat Pearland 50-44.
Meanwhile, Alief Elsik strolled past Alvin with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 59-40. The win made it back-to-back wins for Alief Elsik.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alief Elsik to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ricky Wilson, who scored 14 points along with six assists and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of David Uwalaka, who scored 15 points.
Dawson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Alief Elsik, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-12.
Dawson beat Alief Elsik 58-46 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Does Dawson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Alief Elsik turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
