Ollie Powers turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than nine strikeouts on Wednesday. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Napoleon on Wednesday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

Powers and Lumen Christi Catholic will square off against Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Fighting Irish thanks in part to Powers: she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
