The Wyomissing Spartans are on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Fleetwood Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Wyomissing will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 361st, while the Tigers are ranked 163rd).
Last Saturday, Wyomissing came up short against the Pioneers and fell 65-52. Wyomissing was down 50-30 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Fleetwood entered their tilt with the Panthers with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Fleetwood walked away with a 57-44 win over the Panthers on Saturday.
Wyomissing's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7. As for Fleetwood, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Wyomissing came up short against the Tigers in their previous matchup back in January, falling 51-46. Can Wyomissing avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
