It was another big night for Joaquin Dixon, who scored 28 points for Proviso East. Dixon hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Ramsey Momon, who scored 12 points.
Willowbrook has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Proviso East, they pushed their record up to 12-9 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Willowbrook will face off against Berwyn/Cicero Morton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 12 consecutive losses for Berwyn/Cicero Morton and seven for Willowbrook. As for Proviso East, they will head out on the road to take on Proviso West at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
