Jeremy Dietz gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April of 2024 on Monday. Despite the defeat, he was still locked in as he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Dietz and Conemaugh Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Penns Manor at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Jays had to take a loss when they last met the Comets, but Dietz had little to do with the loss: he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
