St. Paul's Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jeremy Perkins led the charge by dropping a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. Perkins hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Applon, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Burton Adventist Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for St. Paul's Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
